Saltwater Crocodile
One specie that lives in mangroves are saltwater crocodile. A saltwater crocodile eats crustaceans, fish, turtles, snakes, lizards, birds, bats, kangaroos, dingoes, domestic dogs, horses, cattle, buffalo, pigs, and of course humans. Therefore, a saltwater crocodile is a carnivore, a consumer. Saltwater crocodiles are the largest of all the crocodilian species. Although, saltwater crocodiles are reported to exceed 27 feet in the wild, indivials over 17 feet are rare. Several crocodilian species can use their tail to propel almost their entire body out of the water.
